Philippe Clement spoke about some of the positives to take from Tuesday night's defeat to Stoke City and his side's hunger for a result.
"It's clear for everybody it's a crazy game to lose the three points today.
"The team did a lot of things really well but then you lose the game and that is always frustrating.
"I don't think I can ask more about mentality, about the will to win and you saw until the last dying seconds that the team went all in to win this game.
"We had also by far the most possession, by far the most chances, the best chances, everything.
"The goalkeeper had an amazing game today and a few blocks also from them and so you lose points, but if my team keeps on playing like this, we will take a lot of points this season."
On the lessons from tonight's defeat, Clement said: "It's about working more on this ruthlessness.
"We had a few really good chances and we need to be more ruthless in those situations.
"But to play in an away game so dominant, creating so many chances, I think it's a really good step.
"Even compared with last season, I don't think we dominated many games like this, like today.
"So, let's keep on working on the details to be more ruthless and to score more goals.
"I think there could be a red card in the first half where Pelle Mattsson gets smacked down with an arm on a set-piece, but the referee doesn't see, so there are no red cards.
"I'm focusing on my team and what we can do better to get better results and to get better football.
"To get better football, of course we can do things better, but I see a group that's growing and there's a positive side next to the disappointing result."
