Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement was disappointed with Saturday afternoon's result against West Brom and felt his side were worthy of a result.
The visitor's opening goal was met with calls for a handball from many of the Canaries on the pitch and the sidelines.
"I think everybody in the stadium saw it; my bench saw it, I saw it from 50 yards away but not the referee and not the linesman, so that's very disappointing because it's a decisive moment in the game.
"Not only were we in control, but we were dominating the game, creating the chances.
"After that they then have one counter-attack where they make it 2-0, but you see again the right reaction from the team and they kept going and we scored our goal, but we should have scored much more goals today.
"The team deserved much more.
"It's the start of the season, so there’s going to be a lot of games.
"You’re going to have games where things don't go your way for sure, which was the case today, because my team deserved for sure the three points.
"You always need to score to win games, that's true, but also conceding goals against like that is incredibly disappointing, of course, because it should not happen in a game of football."
Kellen Fisher and Papa Amadou Diallo both returned to match action today after spells on the sideline with injury. On their performances, Clement said: "I'm pleased with them, but I've been pleased about everybody who came on the pitch today and also the guys who didn't come on the pitch or who are not in the selection.
"We had a good preparation and had a really good training week also, so they're all battling to be in the squad.
"It's disappointing that they don't get the reward today that they deserve, but it needs to give us fuel for the next few months, to get these results over the line and I don't have any doubt about that, seeing what I have today and the quality that the team showed today."
