New signing Niyah Dunbar made a strong impression in her first minutes for Norwich City Women, netting twice in a 3-2 win against Actonians on Sunday afternoon.
"I think we played really well as a team, especially for my first run out.
"It was really, really easy to fit in with the girls and find the gaps.
"It was fun, there was no pressure, so it was a good first game to get into.
"At the end of the day goals need to come whether it's at the end in vital moments or when you need to just calm it down.
"We were obviously one nil down, so scoring there was probably vital so that we didn't put too much pressure on ourselves, but overall, I think as a team we did really well.
"I think it really helped me to have that support underneath and probably settle in more.
"Obviously it's a new culture, but it was good.
"I did enjoy floating out wide, I did drop in deep, but it was good."
The match took place behind closed doors at The Nest in the striker's first game on home soil in yellow and green.
"The facilities here are absolutely amazing, I couldn't ask for more, really.
"The pre-match the food you get and the changing room, just top top standard."
The striker moved down from Sunderland earlier this week after signing on loan from the WSL 2 side.
"It's been amazing so far; the city's actually really lovely.
"The players and the people are really lovely, I think it's just an amazing place to be.
"I'm excited to spend the season here."
City are back in action on Sunday, August 9 when they face Lincoln City Women behind closed doors for the final pre-season test of the summer.
"I think we'll just work hard and again, use this as vital experiences and to set good expectations.
"We worked really hard today and did some really good passes and I think we'll just put the graft in and expect more.
"There's always more to give, especially for the fans."
