Sam Field was pleased with the team's belief as the Canaries came from two goals down at half-time to secure a 3-2 victory at home.
Captaining the side, Field praised his teammates for continuing to play their football despite the deficit, as City followed up their win over Charlton with another three points.
“Roller coaster, a bit of a Hollywood blockbuster that was
“I thought we started really well to be fair, we started really well but the goals again were poor, but that just shows the team at the minute just we actually you could feel the full belief just if we got one after our time you just knew.
“I thought that the way and the calibre we won was a testament to us and a testament to the tough times we've been to at the minute.
“So, we've just got to use that now, but obviously there's a really good feeling in the dressing room."
Despite the frustration of going into the break 2-0 down, Field felt City had shown enough promise that they could turn the game around.
“It’s a bit confusing because I feel like we’ve dominated the half and they’ve picked us off twice in Championship football
“I’ve played this league long enough to know that can happen and if you don’t finish your chances teams can do that.
“So you just have to stick at it, stick at the process, do what you know is working, and that’s what we did and the rewards come in the end.”
While delighted with the comeback, Field knows City must become harder to break down and find greater control in games.
“It’s not through lack of trying. I think it’s sometimes trying too much and you have to trust each other a little bit more defensively
“But what gives me a lot of confidence is I know we can score.”
Field also highlighted the importance of responding positively to setbacks, with the squad continuing to learn how to manage their emotions on the pitch.
“Trust me, it's frustrating for us, because you come to half time, you're like, how's that happening? But look, we've got to take responsibility for it, and we will, and we'll address it
“But you know, those wins are the best sometimes. If we could win like that, you know, I think the lesson we'll get from that is huge, and it's frustrating against the championship.
“You've got to ride the wave sometimes and not get too bogged down with results.
“I know it's easy to say that, but you just got to keep doing the right things and obviously the last few weeks there's been a lot more promise for sure.
“They’re youthful in age, but they’re still experienced. They’ve played a lot of football, and I think a big one is controlling your emotions on the pitch
“It’s the next action and, you know, the mistake’s gone, whatever, next one, next one. And I think the more we do that, the better we’ll get.”
Having worn the captain’s armband, Field was pleased to play his part in a winning performance, while remaining focused on the team the their performance as a whole.
“Honestly, I was delighted to do it Kenny (McLean) and Pelle (Mattsson) do a great job.
“I’m just trying to be me. I’m not trying to do anything else.
“The main thing was to win. That’s the most important and I’m just happy to be on the pitch and playing.”
With City building on their victory over Charlton, Field wants the squad to carry the positive feeling into the next game.
"We've just got out of a bad run, we don't want to get back in one
“I think that's something we did really well last year, we lost the game towards the end, we bounced back really quickly
“It's easy to get in a pattern and a swing of losing as it is as winning, so we've just got to use the momentum now.”
