Norwich City Women's head coach Perry Northeast hailed his team's performance after a victory over Tier 4 side Actonians in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.
"This was a really positive test for us today; Actonians looked fit, they looked strong, they pressed together and they gave us a really good opportunity to find out what's to come in the next few weeks in terms of the challenges we'll face.
"So I'm really happy with the challenge we had today and equally as happy with the fact that the girls are still trying to work out some of the pictures, you know, how many are they pressing with and then how many do we build with, et cetera.
"So, overall, a really good challenge and we managed to get every one of the squad members on the pitch for valuable minutes and that is also really important."
Northeast's new signings Niyah Dunbar and Elliana Martin were quick to get off the mark in their first appearances for the club, both of them netting on the day.
"Really pleased with them both as well, they're a really exciting pair.
"We want to make sure we've got good quality and competition in the front line.
"On today's occasion, it was Niyah and Eliana on the scoresheet but you can't forget that in the previous couple of weeks it was Issy Moore and Holly Kennard who contributed.
"We've also still got Lara Densley and Faith Harrison who contribute to our attacking threat in terms of their runs and their ability to get him behind.
"Bryony (Brodie) is a player that we want to really introduce to senior football; she's definitely got the technical skill set for it.
"She's got a good football brain and what she will look forward to this season, I'm sure, is playing under high levels of pressure, with experienced oppositions that will want to try and stop her threat.
"So, it's up to us to ensure that we're getting her in the right place, in great spaces and at the right times, so she can flourish here."
On coaching at The Nest as for the home side, he said: "The Nest is fantastic, I'm really looking forward to having some fans behind us here.
"I've said it a couple of times before, but I have been here before, but as an opposition coach, so this time, I'm really looking forward to welcoming the fans here and having some noise behind us to help with the good level of football players."
