Norwich City's Jack Stacey confirmed that whilst the squad were disappointed with Tuesday night's result against Stoke City, the group would stay positive and look ahead to the next fixture.
"I think in this league, you can't expect anything.
"I think it's definitely a disappointment and we thought at times in the game that we kept the ball well, moved it well, but more teams are going to try and do what Stoke did today with a five at the back and we have to be able to break them down better.
"It's definitely a sign of respect, from the second half of last season teams can see what we can do with the ball and how good the results are towards the second-half of last season were.
"But we still have to be able to learn to win these games and break these teams down.
"We still had chances today, so it's probably about taking those chances.
"It's about maybe creating more clear-cut chances and we want to limit as many goals on the transition, get clean sheets again so that we only need one goal to win again."
On the mood in the dressing room after the defeat, Stacey said: "We still have a positive feeling in there, nobody's looking down and the good thing with this league is that we have so many games coming up.
"We want to be able to go out again on Saturday and Wednesday again and try and get the results that we feel maybe our performances deserve.
"Stoke were a team that haven't won a game, so you can see from the start, how much it meant to them.
"So, in every game in the Championship, nothing is given.
"The squad is now the biggest it's been, definitely since I've been here.
"You've got two players in every position, which is what he want in the Championship, especially in this period where there are so many games coming up.
"So, if everyone pushes each other throughout the whole season, hopefully that will improve and help the ones that are playing.
"Like I said, we have to earn every win and we're going to keep trying to work to do that, but we can't go into games expecting to win. We know we have to earn it."
