Norwich City Women are delighted to confirm that Grace Riglar will be the club captain for the 2026/27 season.
The versatile defender was voted Player of the Season by both supporters and her teammates during her debut campaign at the club, as well as claiming top scorer from centre-back.
Having been part of the leadership group alongside former captain Sarah Quantrill last season, Riglar lead the outfield players by example both on and off the pitch.
On being appointed captain, she said: "It’s a huge compliment that Perry and Flo have trusted me with the armband this season and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to lead the team.
"We have such a great group here at Norwich City; something I am really proud to be apart of.
"Hopefully we can build on last year’s success and have another really positive season, giving ourselves and our amazing fans plenty to be proud of."
