Tributes and celebration of Michael Wynn Jones at Portsmouth fixture
In tribute to Michael Wynn Jones, Norwich City players and staff will wear black armbands for both the away game at Swansea City (October 10) and home game against Southampton (October 14).
Norwich City Women will also wear black armbands for their game away at Middlesbrough (October 11).
The club will then pay a special tribute to, and celebrate the life of, Michael Wynn Jones at the home fixture against Portsmouth on October 17.
Prior to kick off at the Portsmouth game, Michael’s life and Norwich City legacy will be celebrated with a period of applause. The club would encourage all supporters to arrive at their seats early in preparation for the tribute and celebration of Michael’s life.
The book of condolence will also be available for supporters to pay their tribute to Michael at both the Southampton and Portsmouth games at Carrow Road. This will be located in the Supporter Hub in the Regency Security Stand and will be open before kick-off – 5.30pm-7.30pm for Southampton and 12.30pm to 2.30pm for Portsmouth.
The women’s team will also pay tribute to Michael prior to their home against West Bromwich Albion at The Nest on October 18.
Those supporters wishing to write a tribute to Michael in the book of condolence on a non-matchday can do so by visiting the South Stand reception at Carrow Road, which will be open from Monday through to Friday (October 5-9), between 8am and 7pm.
