Norwich City Women are back in pre-season action this weekend, hosting Division One South East side Actonians at home.
The match will take place behind-closed-doors on Sunday, August 2.
Perry Northeast's side managed to play 45 minutes against Tier 5 side Wroxham on Wednesday evening, before a floodlight failure that meant the game was forced to be abandoned.
Holly Kennard and Evie Williams were on target in the first half.
The Opposition
Sunday's visitors are familiar opponents for the Canaries, having resided in Division One South East for xx seasons.
Actonians finished their 2025/26 campaign in fifth, 20 points behind Norwich City in second.
The Blues began their pre-season schedule with an impressive 4-0 win over Southern Premier side Fulham.
They then collected another win the following week with another 4-0 victory, this time over Barking.
As well as two new summer signings in Georgia Griffin and Kendra Brown, Actonians appointed Jason Stephens as the new head coach from Leyton Orient earlier this month.
The two meetings between these sides last season ended in maximum points for the Canaries, with a 4-0 win on the opening day at The Nest and a 3-0 win back in January of this year.
