Norwich City Women are back in Northern Premier Division action this weekend and will travel to the Midlands to face Loughborough Lightning.
The match will take place at Loughborough University Stadium in a 2pm kick-off on Sunday, October 4.
The Canaries were 5-1 winners against Stevenage in their last outing, leaving them top of Group G in the FAWNL League Cup.
Faith Harrison was on target twice, with other goals coming from Zofia Szczech, Lauren Hailes and Bryony Brodie.
The Opposition
Sunday's hosts are currently sitting one place above the Yellows in sixth, with seven points after five games played.
After a slow start to the 2026/27 season with defeats to Hull City and Huddersfield Town, Lightning picked up their first win against Stoke City at the end of August.
Their following league outing ended in tightly contest 3-2 win over Peterborough United, a 92nd minute winner from Lucy Mutch sealing the three points.
Lightning then secured a point in a 1-1 draw against Boldmere St Michaels towards the end of September.
Outside of league action, Charles Baxter's side topped Group R in the FAWNL Cup group stage, progressing into the knock-out stages of the competition.
Played for both
Current Canary Zofia Szczech made the switch from Loughborough to Norfolk over the summer, having played for Lightning for three seasons whilst studying at university.
Former Yellows Hope Strauss and Felicity Limage both joined City from the Bolts at the start of the 2023/24 season.
