Norwich City Women rescued a point against Boldmere St Michaels in the 96th minute on Sunday afternoon as they played out a 2-2 draw in the Northern Premier Division.
The visitors opened the scoring in the fourth minute after a fast start and doubled their lead before the break.
Issy Moore was on target for her third of the season to pull one back with 25 minutes to play and Drew Wilson was the hero of the hour in the sixth minute of injury time to bring the scores level.
Perry Northeast made just two changes to his side that beat Luton Town last weekend in the FAWNL Cup, with Grace Riglar returning to the backline and Freya Symonds resuming her position in the middle.
Zofia Szczech and Poppy Groves moved to the bench in their places.
The visitors were the first to strike after a period of early pressure, finding the opener inside five minutes through captain Grace Gregory.
The forward sent an effort goalwards in the area that evaded Eva-Jean Young in goal and rolled into the bottom left corner.
City had opportunities to find a leveller in the ten minutes that followed thanks to some high pressing from Niyah Dunbar, giving Moore the chance to shoot but her effort was blocked.
After stealing possesion in City's half, Maia Clark sent a powerful shot Young's way but was unable to find the target.
Dunbar was next to test the visitors with a strike that rattled the post just before the half-hour mark.
Young was then forced into action after City were caught out again inside their own half.
Clark spotted the City stopper off her line, but her looping effort was denied by a fingertip save from Young.
A brilliant run and delivery into the area from Holly Kennard was just out of reach of the on-rushing Dunbar, who had to settle for a corner.
Dunbar then returned the favour minutes later for the winger, setting her up to shoot inside the box but Tilly Astell got down low to smother the strike.
Boldmere then halted City's momentum with a second goal of the afternoon, arriving just five minutes before the break.
A corner for the Mikes led to a scramble in the box and the ball was eventually poked over the line by Lataya Bojang.
A Bryony Brodie free-kick was then sent into the area and found Freya Symonds, who rose highest but could not beat Astell in goal.
The combination of Kennard and Dunbar linked up again shortly after the final opportunity of the first half, the winger finding the loanee striker who headed over.
As the second half commenced, Clark was eager to double her tally for the visitors and sent another effort into the City box, this time straight into the hands of Young.
Molly Towers then struck the woodwork and Dunbar hit the side netting down the other end just before an hour was played.
City's efforts were finally rewarded in the 65th minute when a brilliant ball found Issy Moore down her left wing and gave her the chance to curl an effort into the top corner to halve the deficit.
Brodie was searching for an equaliser soon after from a free-kick in a dangerous area, sending her strike just inches high of the target.
The woodwork was then rattled again by the visitors, this time Skye Owen with the shot.
With just three minutes left on the clock, the Canaries hit the underside of the crossbar and Symonds was unable to nod home the rebound.
City left it until the dying moments to find an equaliser, as Symonds won a drop ball that resulted in a throw-in for the Yellows deep inside the Boldmere half.
She played the ball to Szczech on the touchline, who laid it back to the midfielder.
Symonds then delivered into the box, where Wilson was on hand to tap home City's second goal with virtually the final kick of the game.
Perry Northeast's side are back home again next weekend hosting Stoke City at The Nest on Sunday, September 20.
