You said, we did: How your feedback has shaped Carrow Road ahead of 2026/27

Carrow Road

Ahead of the new season, a number of changes have been made across Carrow Road and the matchday experience – many of which have been directly informed by feedback from supporters.

Throughout the 2025/26 season, supporters completed 6,212 post-match surveys, providing valuable insight into what is working well and where improvements can be made.

The post-match survey is one of a number of ways supporters can share their views with the club, alongside our Supporter Panel, Supporter Groups and external food and beverage and accessibility working groups. Together, these feedback channels help us understand wider trends across the stadium and identify where improvements and investment are most needed.

As a result, a number of changes have been made ahead of 2026/27.

You said: We want a better experience before kick-off
We did: More choice at the Fan Village

Supporters told us they wanted more options at the Fan Village, shorter queues, more opportunities to watch football and improved access to facilities.

Ahead of the new season, the Fan Village has been expanded to provide more food and drink options, additional toilets and more opportunities to watch live football before kick-off.

There are also changes to the wider pre-match experience, with the Carrow Park Junior Fanzone no longer operating on matchdays.

Instead, junior engagement will be brought into the stadium through new junior engagement touchpoints throughout the ground, providing opportunities for younger supporters to get involved across the matchday experience.

You said: The club shop can get crowded
We did: More places to shop around the stadium

We know that matchdays can be busy, particularly around the club shop.

To provide supporters with more opportunities to pick up their Norwich City merchandise, additional pop-up retail units will be available around the stadium, including within the Fan Village and around the Barclay Stand.

Supporters also told us they wanted more souvenir and personalisation options.

A new personalisation station has therefore been introduced, giving supporters more ways to make their Norwich City purchases their own.

You said: Improve the food and drink
We did: New options and faster service

Food and drink has been another area where supporter feedback has helped shape changes for 2026/27.

Following feedback around the quality of coffee available at the stadium, we are trialling a new coffee offering this season.

We have also introduced a new Junior Canaries snack box, available in the Lower Joma and Lower Regency, providing a new option for younger supporters on matchdays.

Plus, in response to feedback around service times, a new bar has been installed in the Upper Barclay, helping to increase capacity and improve service for supporters in the stand.

You said: Make getting into the stadium easier
We did: New turnstile readers

Stadium entry and ticketing were among the key themes identified through post-match feedback.

Ahead of the new season, new turnstile readers have been installed around Carrow Road, helping to improve the process of entering the stadium on matchdays.

These changes form part of the club's wider work to improve the matchday experience from the moment supporters arrive at Carrow Road.

You said: Improve the stadium facilities
We did: Continued investment across Carrow Road

Supporter feedback doesn't just inform changes for the following season – it can also help shape longer-term investment.

Last summer, the club invested in bird netting and waterproofing works to the stadium roofs, following feedback from supporters.

Accessibility also remains an important part of the club's ongoing investment and improvement work, with facilities including the sensory room and changing places provision helping to support a more accessible matchday experience.

Improving facilities across Carrow Road remains an ongoing priority, but we also recognise that some areas of the stadium – particularly in the older and smaller stands – have limitations that cannot be resolved overnight.

Issues such as toilet provision can require significant building work and longer-term investment. While we may not be able to address every issue immediately, supporter feedback continues to help us understand where improvements are most needed and inform future plans.

You said: Improve the PA and audio
We did: A new PA system

PA and audio were also highlighted through supporter feedback, with a new PA system among the improvements made at Carrow Road ahead of 2026/27.

The new system will help improve the quality and clarity of announcements throughout the stadium, ensuring supporters can hear important information more clearly on matchdays.

Keep telling us what you think

The post-match survey remains an important part of the club's feedback loop, helping us identify wider trends and understand the areas of the matchday experience that matter most to supporters.

Following supporter feedback, the post-match survey has also been updated for the new season, helping us continue to capture the views and experiences that matter most to supporters.

The 6,212 responses received across 2025/26 demonstrate the value of that feedback, and the information gathered has helped shape decisions and investment across the club ahead of the new season.

Surveys and the club's wider feedback channels are used to monitor trends and help us identify priorities for improvement. If you have a specific or individual issue that you would like the club to address, please contact supporterrelations@canaries.co.uk so that it can be reported and followed up directly.

As we continue to improve Carrow Road and the wider matchday experience, your feedback will remain an important part of helping us understand what matters most to supporters.
