Bruno Alves arrived at Norwich City in the summer of 2026, joining the Canaries on loan from Brazilian Série A side Cruzeiro, with the Canaries holding the option to buy the centre back at the end of his loan.

The left-footed centre hald, born in Paranapuã, Brazil, has also represented his country at Under-20 level, earning international recognition as one of the nation's emerging defenders. Comfortable playing with either foot, he is known for his calmness in possession, aerial presence and ability to read the game from the heart of defence.
