Liam Gibbs joined Norwich City from Ipswich Town ahead of the 2021/22 season, having progressed through the academy ranks at Portman Road before making the switch to the Canaries.

Initially linking up with City's Under-23s squad, the midfielder quickly caught the eye with his performances at academy level, earning opportunities to train with the first team and appearing on the bench during the closing stages of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.

Gibbs made his senior debut on the opening day of the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship season away at Cardiff City and scored his first goal for the club with a stunning strike against Blackburn Rovers in April 2023. His impressive breakthrough campaign saw him named Norwich City's Young Player of the Season.

A combative and technically gifted midfielder, Gibbs has since established himself as a regular in the Canaries' first team, bringing up his 100th appearance for the club on the final day of the 2025/26 season against Hull City.
