Pelle Mattsson joined Norwich City in August 2025 from Danish Superliga side Silkeborg IF.

Born in Marstal, Denmark, Mattsson began his footballing journey with Marstal IF and ØBG Fodbold before joining Silkeborg's academy at the age of 13.

After regularly featuring for the club's Under-19s and reserve sides, Mattsson made his senior debut in April 2019 against Hvidovre IF in the Danish second tier.

The midfielder was part of the Silkeborg side that secured promotion to the Danish Superliga during the 2019/20 season, winning the league title ahead of Viborg FF.

Mattsson went on to establish himself as a key figure in midfield at JYSK Park, making 149 appearances in all competitions and helping Silkeborg lift the Danish Cup in 2023/24 with victory over AGF Aarhus in the final.

In his debut season at Carrow Road, Mattsson made 34 appearances across all competitions, becoming a regular part of the Canaries' midfield.
