Glenn McCourt joined Norwich City from League of Ireland Premier Division side Derry City in the summer of 2025.

A defensive midfielder, McCourt progressed through Derry City's academy before making his senior debut for the club at the age of 16. He signed his first professional contract with his hometown club in September 2024 before completing his move to Carrow Road on a three-year deal, with the option of a further year.

A Northern Ireland youth international, McCourt linked up with Norwich City's development programme following his arrival and continues his progression at the Avant Training Centre.
