Botan Ameen joined Norwich City from Swindon Town in August 2025.

The Iraq youth international began his footballing journey in Queens Park Rangers' academy before joining Swindon Town on a scholarship after his release at the age of 16.

A centre-forward capable of playing across the front line, Ameen enjoyed a breakthrough campaign during the 2024/25 season. Having impressed for the Robins' Under-18s, he made his senior debut in October 2024, scoring in a 4-0 EFL Trophy victory over Bristol Rovers.

He went on to make 19 first-team appearances in all competitions for Swindon, registering two goals and two assists, before completing his move to Carrow Road.
