Club actions to be Greener Together

  1. Our home kit, manufactured by Joma, is made of 100 per cent recycled polyester.
  2. We have committed to staff education to help hit sustainability objectives.
  3. Most of our vegetables for the first-team meals are grown and picked at the Avant Training Centre.
  4. Teamsheets have been removed from most areas of the stadium
  5. Vegan pastys and cardboard water cartons are available in most kiosks.
  6. Plastic-free cups and boxes are used throughout the stadium.
  7. Water saving schemes have been introduced at the Avant Training Centre.
  8. The club now uses electricity that is 100 per cent generated from renewable sources. We have 379 solar panels installed across the Academy, Gym, Grounds Store and Recovery Hub, providing a source of clean, renewable energy.
  9. The club actively advocates for fans and staff to use sustainable travel via available public transport routes. We have a cycle to work scheme in place for staff to take advantage of. At the Avant Training Centre electric car points have been installed and cycle racks available at both sites. The club conducts annual fan travel surveys.
  10. Active waste diversion system is in place and the club currently has five collections in food waste, paper and card, plastic, cans and tins, glass and non-recyclable waste. The club currently recycles more than 50 per cent of its waste and zero waste goes to landfill.
  11. A foodbank donation point is available in the Supporter Hub on matchdays, with fans encouraged to donate a range of food and hygiene products.
  12. On The Stall City have a donation point in our club shop where fans can donate old club kit to be sold in their store. All proceeds from their sales then go to the Community Sports Foundation.
