The Canaries begin the new season with the visit of the Tigers, having rounded off pre-season with last weekend's win over Olympiacos.

Hull finished their pre-season preparations with a 1-1 draw against French side Nantes.

The opposition

The away side finished in 15th place in the Championship last season, ending the season with only two defeats in their final 10 games.

Liam Rosenior added a number of new signings to his ranks, including the loan signings of Liam Delap and Rúben Vinagre.

Jason Lokilo arrived permanently from Sparta Rotterdam, as did Aaron Connolly who joined from Brighton & Hove Albion.

One to Watch

Aaron Connolly

Arriving at the MKM Stadium on a permanent basis this summer, Connolly made the move from Brighton.

The 23-year-old progressed through at Brighton and made 45 league appearances, having previously spent time with Mervue United in Ireland.

Loan spells at Luton Town, Venezia and Middlesbrough followed, before a temporary spell at Hull last season.

The Manager

Liam Rosenior

Taking over at Hull in November of last season, Rosenior returned to the club where he spent five years as a player.

After a playing career that also included spells at Reading and Ipswich, Rosenior's coaching career began at Brighton, the club he ended his playing career with.

He later joined the coaching team at Derby County, working under Phillip Cocu and Wayne Rooney, and spent time as the club's interim manager before taking over at the Tigers.

Last Time Out

Norwich were 3-1 winners over Hull in the previous meeting between the two sides.

Kieran Dowell, Gabriel Sara and Josh Sargent were all on the scoresheet for the Canaries, following Jacob Greaves' opener at Carrow Road.
