Teemu Pukki admitted he was pleased with the point Norwich City accrued in their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
Pukki gave City the lead within the opening minute at Carrow Road, after to determined run and cross from Milot Rashica and neat lay-off by Adam Idah.
However, the Canaries couldn't hold onto their advantage as Wilfried Zaha fired home an unstoppable equaliser in the second-half.
Zaha then had a chance to put Palace ahead from the spot but missed a penalty shortly after the equaliser.
And Pukki was pleased City held onto a point: "I think we can be happy with the point today, especially how the game went.
"Of course, going in the lead and then losing it, it’s always a bit disappointing but they were better than us today so we can be happy with the point.
"It was great from Milot (for the goal). He beat the full-back and gave a good cross for Adam who set it up for me perfectly.
"It was a nice goal from all of us, and that’s important for us as forwards to do those kinds of things together and be close and give assists to each other. It gives us all confidence."
Pukki reserved praise for his teammate Idah, who's impressed since becoming a regular feature in the starting eleven over recent weeks.
"Adam is great in the air and I’m not," he admitted. "It gives us another option whenever we are under pressure to play it long. Of course, we need to play more on the ground as well.
"We didn’t do that enough today and that’s why we couldn’t maybe play our game well enough. It was not easy.
"We defended well. They had the penalty and the goal they scored, which isn’t really a chance but a great goal from Zaha. But other than that, we didn’t give them many chances and that’s a good sign."
Up next for City is the visit of Manchester City to Carrow Road on Saturday (5.30pm KO) and Pukki is hoping the team can be inspired from the same fixture two seasons ago.
"We know Man City is one of the best teams in the world. So it will not be easy, but we need to go into every game with three points in our head.
"It doesn’t matter who we play. We know it will be a tough afternoon and we need to be at our very best to get something out of it.
"But we’ve done it here before, many of us here now were there last time. We just need to believe we can do it – anything is possible."
